Freya ("we," "us," "our") is committed to your privacy — including the privacy of what you buy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Name, email address, shipping address, and payment information when you place an order or create an account.
• Phone number if you opt into SMS updates.
• Communications you send us (email, support tickets).

Information collected automatically:

• Device and browser data, IP address, pages visited, and time on site — collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Purchase history and subscription status.

Information from third parties:

• Analytics providers (Google Analytics / GA4) and advertising platforms provide aggregated data about how visitors reach and use our site.
• Recharge provides subscription management data. Klaviyo manages our email and SMS communications.

How we use your information

• To process your orders and manage your blade subscription.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping updates, upcoming charge notices).
• To send marketing emails and SMS if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve our site and understand what content is useful to our customers.
• To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
• For advertising: we may share hashed email addresses with ad platforms to measure campaign performance and build lookalike audiences. We do not sell your personal information.

Discretion — a note specific to Freya

We understand that some customers value discretion about their purchase.

• Packaging: All orders ship in plain, unmarked outer packaging. There is no Freya branding visible from the outside.
• Billing descriptor: Your credit card statement will show our company identifier. If you have questions or concerns about a charge appearing on your statement, email us at hello@hifreya.com before disputing — we can resolve it quickly and privately.
• Email subject lines: Our marketing emails use subject lines that do not reveal the nature of the product to anyone who might see your inbox.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work correctly if you do. We use Google Analytics and may use advertising cookies for retargeting.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers who help us operate (Shopify, Recharge, Klaviyo, shipping carriers, payment processors).
• Analytics and advertising platforms as described above (pseudonymized/hashed where possible).
• Legal authorities if required by law.

Your rights

All requests will be acknowledged within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain order and account data as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years thereafter for legal and tax compliance. You may request deletion of marketing data at any time.

Children

Our site is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We'll post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated by email to active account holders.
